Project 45 Kick Stand

Gary's frame is single down tube so I wanted to stay away from the bulky big twin kick stand on the front. So we put a weld on ironhead sportster type kick stand on which hides better and also follows the frame at the back.

Project 45 oil cooler

I got this awesome oil cooler from Steve http://www.lillianrosechoppers.com/ but I just could not find a place to put it on Gary's bike. Of course, it works best mounted off the front down tubes, but since the frame is single loop I wanted to keep it clean. I wound up hacking the mounting bracket and putting it under the tranny. It won't work as well down here, but it will still do enough for the bike considering the added oil capacity. I wanted it down here so I can keep all the oil lines close together.

1936 VLH barn find

Well this is as close as I've come to one of my dream bikes. 1936 VLH- last year of the V series Big Twin Flatheads in the single down tube frame. First year of the four speed and 80" one year only stuff like motor parts, tranny and shift gate. I found this in an attic of an estate sale; it was exciting for sure but it's sad to see the left case had a bad day some time ago. It just so happens we sold one of our first ever Old-Stf produced part. A tank shift gate for this same bike. Unfortunately, we don't sell these often considering the super small customer base, so this small pile we finished today should last several years ha ha. Only four have sold since 2005.
