Here is a couple flathead 74" VLD bikes we built a few years ago. The black is orginal with custom finish and the blue one is correct restoration. I have been sending photo CD's to people interested in building one. Over 500 photos in order from bare frame, repairs, rebuild, assemble and finished. $10 shipped in the us and $18 overseas.

Knucklehead built in 28 days

I like paint and metal finishes weather it's dull or polished brass aluminum chrome etc it's part of the art. I dreamed up this knuckle as a flashy show bike. But came to the conclusion that I really wanted to ride it and didn't want to wait. Dad and I were so excited when we found the parts in rust and dirt untouched for many years so we just put it together and I'm real happy with it just "as found". When you love this stuff so much why refinish it? then again I still want to do a refinished version but a second bike of course lol
These bars we hand made. Knuckle/flatty bars turned down from +4 to -2 and -6 shorter with xl internal grips instead of the longer big twin. still original material just modified. For more on this bike see this link

Wide springer front end top clamps

A common question is what top clamp fits which brand springers. With the help of "Jimmi" who sent me this great drawing I can now tell you that the paughco, v-twin, dna and original hd springer have the same spacing and hole dia. Note this dose not include narrow front ends and inline is not the same as offset. The top clamps I carry will fit these springers with or without dog bone ears. I always assumed this was the case but needed help from others with different front ends to make it a fact. Check out this guys work at www.craftsmancopper.com "real nice"

Finished Customers 45 flathead trike

Rebuilt top end and transmission. Refinished oak bed and added a bunch of other goodies. This was fun to ride but I still like 2 wheeled machines by far.
